So Much To Learn, No Enough Time
I have a book list that’s like a mile long!
Well not really, but there are books I will be buying very soon. So much I want read, so much I want to do, so much to learn. I am such a “propeller-head” as one of the IT managers calls me.
Being an I.T Professional is no joke (as it may be for some, but not for me), and there’s so much technology now than there was 10 years ago. I can stay awake just trying to keep up with it all, (hence my blog’s caption). This isn’t school where a professor tells you what to read; etc, YOU have to stay on top of it, and the only way to do that is READ, READ, and READ SOME MORE, DOWNLOAD, EVALUATE, BREAK STUFF, LEARN FROM THE MISTAKE(S); etc. (Repeat that like 1,000,000 times)
Things “keeping me up” are Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, about to dig into VirtualServer/ESX Server 3i. I want to learn SCOM, SCCM, Exchange, the ins and outs of AD and much much more. (head starts to spin)
Gotta stay marketable and move up in the world ya know! You can’t just stand still and watch the world pass you by! If you don’t grind, you don’t shine. Strive to be the best at what you do! I want my office and six-figure salary some day! B-)
